Each Character will be able to equip different pieces of armour. Armour items are divided by slots:
Each piece of armour will always belong to one of the following categories:
While these items are equipped, they will provide additional Stats for the character. While there is no obligation to do so, if all the armour equipped by a character belong to the same category, that characters highest Stat (between Hit Points, Strength, Agility and Intellect) is increased by a %. This should make for interesting gameplay moments where the player will measure pros and cons between equipping only one category of armour or equipping a stronger piece that belongs to a different category.
Armour can be obtained by clearing dungeon rooms or bought in shops and they must increase in power depending on what floor the player finds them..
I intend to use an algorithm to generate armor for the game.
