1. The player picks 4 characters from the playable character pool and enters the dungeon.
  2. The player enters a dungeon room and attempts to clear it, being rewarded when doing so successfully. A feedback screen will then be shown.
  3. The player upgrades the characters with the rewards earned by clearing dungeon rooms.
  4. The player is offered a choice of rooms that he can go to and picks one to enter.

As the player progresses through the dungeon the difficulty will increase.

Step 2, 3 and 4 repeat until all the player characters die (causing the player to lose) or until the player defeats the final enemy on the last floor of the dungeon.

The run based nature of roguelikes means that no progress will be carried into the next playthrough.
